Bring power with you wherever you go with the innovative PCH1000 Portable Gas-Powered Winch, designed for both pulling and lifting applications. Now you don't have to change back and forth with typical winch systems designed only for lifting and only for pulling when the PCH1000 can do both the jobs. This gas-powered pulling and lifting winch utilizes a rope grabbing system that can hold a load in position, allowing the user to work safely each time. Pulling the rope will activate the centrifugal clutch, and as soon as the user stops pulling, the throttle decreases, the drum stops rotating (which helps prevent damage to the rope), and the rope grabbing system holds the load in position. This system is designed to permit the lifting and lowering of loads as well as pulling.

Perfect for search and rescue, industrial, forestry, hunting, arboriculture, and marine applications. Use the PCH1000 Portable Winch to pull cables, fiber optic, or wire through conduits, pull boats, water fences, docks, and more. Also can be used for lifting heavy machinery / equipment, transformers, scaffolding, bricks, antennas, and for raising towers. Note: For Pulling, the PCH1000 can be used with any length Double Braided Polyester Rope as long as it has a minimum diameter of 3/8" and maximum diameter of 5/8". For Lifting, the PCH1000 can be used with any length Double Braided Polyester Rope as long as it comes with eye splices, which are mandatory for lifting applications, and as long as it has a minimum and maximum diameter of 1/2.

Installed with 2-1/4" diameter PCA-1110 Capstan Drum (optional 3-3/8" diameter PCA-1100 Drum available to increase pull speed). Speed with installed capstan drum: 40' (12 m) per minute. Speed with optional capstan drum: 60' (18 m) per minute. Rope Grabbing System can be disabled if desired. Comes with PCA-1260 Polyester Sling 6.
