Portable Gas-Powered Capstan Winch PCW5000

The Portable Gas-Powered Capstan Winch PCW5000 offers you constant pulling power for heavy objects up to 2200 lbs. Perfect for industrial, forestry, hunting, marine, vehicle and boat, and search and rescue operations. This winch is very useful for bringing down hung trees, pulling heavy wooden logs, pulling boats out of the water, moving animal carcasses, getting vehicles out of the mud, and much more. The PCW5000 Portable Winch can be used with any length of Double Braided Polyester Rope, as long as the minimum diameter is 3/8" and maximum diameter is 5/8".

Since the PCW5000 Portable Winch uses a capstan drum design, there is no rope length limit. Tie the rope to the object needing to be pulled and wind the rope around the capstan drum 3-4 times. While the engine runs, the drum will rotate continuously and the friction that is generated by the pull on the rope's free end will pull the object. As long as the engine is running, the capstan drum will always turn.

The pulling speed with the installed capstan drum is 40' per minute. However, if you require a faster pulling speed, upgrade to the optional capstan drum to increase the pulling speed to 60' per minute. Lightweight weighing only 35 lbs.

The winch is easily carried and allows access into areas where typical machinery is just too awkward to fit in and manuever. The included 6' polyester sling allows for the winch to be fastened to an anchor.

Other optional accessories are available to allow the winch to be attached to other anchoring points, like trees, posts, and vehicle ball hitches. Note: The PCW5000 Portable Winch is designed only for pulling purposes. Do not use for lifting. Also, any length Double Braided Polyester Rope can be used with this winch, as long as the minimum diameter is 3/8" and maximum diameter is 5/8". Powered by a Honda GXH 50cc 4-stroke gas engine.
