He walked me through the checklist and diagnosed a low battery situation but had the solution. Who knew Champion was so smart to build in a manual choke switch that when pushed over and the manual starter pulled would fire this yellow wonder up?

He did, and patiently waited for my fumbling fingers to do what he said. He used words of encouragement to support this non-mechanical woman and cheered even louder than I did when the generator roared into life I'm drinking a hot cup of coffee under the lights of my trailer and listening to my generator purring. At 70 I've been able to have the best experience with setting up a generator, hooking it up, and smiling ear to ear with contentment! They sent me a new battery and a spark plug as they expected it did get flooded. Even with the new battery it would not start manually or electric start until they instructed me to remove the back panel and manually set the stepper motor to the default position and then it started first try.

It will start with the FOB (remote start). They offered to send me replacement part and detailed instructions or take to an authorized service center to replace the carburetor. I camp and hunt almost every weekend in the fall so I can get by with the remote start for now. Very happy with the support and the features and sound level was a tent camper for years and appreciate a quiet generator.

Well, I have 3, so I guess I think they're pretty good! First I bought a 3100, then another 3100. I love them, just at my age and shoulders, not wild about pulling starter cords. So, I got me the 3150-watt wireless.

I live in hurricane country, so I like the ability to know I can use my televisions, and computers to keep up with what's going on with the storm. That remote start sure beats going out on rainy days to climb into the bed of my truck to start it. It's a quiet, easy start machine, for me, the only problem.. A bit heavy, but I knew that when I bought it.

We wanted a new generator which would be lighter, quieter and yet still be able to power our rv air conditioner and this model definitely did the trick! We had tried others but they just didn't have the power and this model starts up easily and does not bog down when air conditioner is turned on!
